Engine Warranty Policy
Effective Date: May 21, 2025 (Last Updated)
Issuer: Zipeemart LLC
Scope: Used & Remanufactured Engines
Article I: Warranty Coverage Duration
All used engines sold by Zipeemart LLC carry a limited warranty. The duration of the warranty period is strictly determined by the manufacturing era and model year of the engine unit:
Tier #1 (Model Years 1990 or Earlier): Covered under a 1-Month (30 Days) limited warranty from the date of delivery.
Tier #2 (Model Years 1991 to 2000): Covered under a 3-Month (90 Days) limited warranty from the date of delivery.
Tier #3 (Model Years 2001 to 2025): Covered under a 6-Month (180 Days) limited warranty from the date of delivery.
Tier #4 (Premium Late-Model/Low-Mileage Units): Select premium units may qualify for up to a 36-Month (3 Years) extended warranty. This must be explicitly stated in writing on your original invoice.
Article II: Mandatory Installation & Customer Responsibilities
To maintain valid warranty coverage, the purchaser must strictly comply with all pre-installation and installation protocols. Failure to provide proof of compliance will immediately void the warranty:
Timeframe: The engine assembly must be installed within 30 days of the original invoice date.
Licensed Professional Mechanic: Installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed automotive repair facility or a certified professional mechanic. "Do-It-Yourself" (DIY) installations or home-garage setups are not covered.
Component Replacement: The installer must replace all external wear-and-tear components at the time of installation, including but not limited to: brand-new oil, oil filter, spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, front/rear main crankshaft seals, and valve cover gaskets.
Cooling System Maintenance: The vehicle’s radiator must be professionally flushed, tested, or replaced to ensure optimal thermal performance before firing the replacement engine.
Article III: Strict Limitations of Liability & Exclusions
Zipeemart LLC provides a PARTS-ONLY warranty. By purchasing, the customer acknowledges and accepts the following limitations:
No Labor Coverage: This warranty covers only the replacement of the defective engine block and internal components. Zipeemart LLC is strictly NOT liable for any labor costs, diagnostic fees, towing charges, removal, or re-installation expenses under any circumstances.
No Incidental Damages: Zipeemart LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages of any kind, including but not limited to: inconvenience, loss of time, loss of vehicle use, loss of profits, commercial downtime, or storage fees.
Heat Tabs Notice: Engines are equipped with heat-sensitive tabs (Heat Tabs) prior to shipment. If these tabs are found melted, missing, altered, or tampered with upon inspection, it indicates engine overheating due to cooling system failure, and coverage is immediately voided.
Usage Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damages caused by insufficient lubrication, oil starvation, neglect, abuse, racing, off-road use, or Commercial Use (such as fleet, delivery, or ride-sharing vehicles).
Article IV: Claims, Fraud, and Non-Transferability
Non-Transferable: This warranty is granted solely to the original purchaser listed on the invoice and is non-transferable to any subsequent vehicle owner.
Fraudulent Documentation: Submission of altered, fabricated, or misleading documentation (including fake mechanic receipts or diagnostic reports) immediately voids all warranty coverage and will result in the permanent cancellation of the claim.
Article V: Governing Law & Binding Arbitration
This agreement, its warranty terms, and all sales transactions shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the sale, warranty, or use of any product sold by Zipeemart LLC shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Wyoming, and both parties consent to this exclusive venue, waiving any right to participate in class actions or individual court lawsuits.
